Cash and Major Credit Cards: We accept cash and most major credit cards for veterinary services, medications, and products.
CareCredit: CareCredit is an alternative payment option that may help you manage out-of-pocket veterinary expenses. CareCredit can be used for many types of care, from wellness visits to unexpected illness or injury.

PET INSURANCE
Pet insurance can make it easier to say “yes” to recommended care—especially when life throws an unexpected curveball. Depending on the plan, pet insurance may help cover costs related to:

- New illnesses and chronic conditions
- Diagnostics, hospitalization, and specialty care
Most pet insurance companies operate on a reimbursement model. This means you pay for services at the time of your visit, submit your invoice to your insurance provider, and then receive reimbursement based on your plan’s coverage. We are happy to work with any pet insurance company by providing medical records, invoices, and documentation needed to process your claim.

Fairwood Plaza Animal Clinic partners with Trupanion. One of the advantages of Trupanion is their ability to provide preapproval for covered treatments and, in many cases, pay us directly at the time of service. This can significantly reduce your out-of-pocket expense at checkout and help avoid waiting for reimbursement.
If you’re considering pet insurance, enrolling early—before any health concerns arise—is important, as most plans do not cover pre-existing conditions.
